Misted or broken glass
Failed sealed units replaced in the existing frame, with toughened or obscure glass where needed.

Misted units, dropped doors, stiff handles and failed locks. If a repair will genuinely do the job, that is what we will recommend.
Roofs, roofline & repairs
A lot of windows and doors that people think need replacing only need a part. A misted sealed unit can be swapped without touching the frame. A door that catches usually needs its hinges adjusted or replaced. A lock that is hard to turn is often a worn gearbox, not a failed door.
Twenty years of fitting means Carl knows how the common systems go together and where they wear. We find the fault, tell you what it will cost to put right, and tell you straight if the frame is past saving.
We repair uPVC, aluminium and composite windows and doors — including ones we did not fit.

Questions
Yes, as long as parts are still available for the system — which for most uPVC and aluminium systems they are.
Yes. A misted or cracked sealed unit can usually be replaced without changing the frame.
It depends on the part. You get the price before any work is done, and if a repair is not worth doing we will say so.
Often, if the frames are sound. If several units have failed and the hinges and seals are going too, replacement is usually better value in the long run.
