The door you use every day.
A composite door is a solid core clad in a tough glass-reinforced skin and hung in a reinforced frame. Compared with a uPVC panel door it is heavier, more secure, better insulated and far more convincing up close.
The fit matters as much as the door. A heavy slab that is not hung square will drop, and a multipoint lock that has to be forced is a lock that will fail. We set the frame true, adjust the hinges so the door closes evenly on its seals, and make sure the lock throws with a light lift of the handle.

Frames are made to your sizes, then fitted on an agreed date. Dust sheets down, one opening at a time, and the house watertight and secure before we leave each evening.

Walk round & guarantee
Every opening tried, every lock keyed, every bead checked with you there. Then the paperwork, the guarantee and the number to ring if anything ever moves.

How long does it take to fit a composite door?
Normally a single day, including taking out the old door and frame and making good around the new one.
How long do composite doors take to arrive?
They are made to order after survey. You get a realistic fitting date with your quote.
Composite or aluminium front door?
Composite is the usual choice for most houses: warm, secure and good value. Aluminium suits contemporary houses where you want slim frames, large glazing or a very flat modern finish — see aluminium front doors.
