Every opening is different. So every job starts on site.
We measure the structural opening ourselves and spec the frame to suit it — threshold levels, trickle vents, glazing and finish all agreed before anything is ordered. The same team takes it from that first survey through to installation and aftercare.

Aluminium is what lets an opening get genuinely wide. The frames are slim enough to disappear against the glass, strong enough to carry a six-panel run without sagging, and thermally broken so the room behind them stays warm. We survey the structural opening, agree the threshold level before anything is ordered, and set the track dead level so the panels stack and glide with one hand years later.

About Carl Hancock Installations
Built on generations of experience.
Carl Hancock Installations is a family-run business led by Carl, working alongside his father, Andrew. Andrew has worked in the trade since leaving school, bringing more than 40 years of experience to every installation.
Carl brings 20 years of industry experience, having started alongside his dad at 16. He learned the fundamentals of the trade properly — from carefully removing old frames to installing, glazing and finishing every job to a high standard. He spent his early years working on residential properties, fitting uPVC windows and doors, roofline products and conservatories.
He then progressed into aluminium fabrication and installation, working on aluminium windows and doors, commercial shopfronts and curtain walling systems. A spell in Hertfordshire installing large aluminium sliding and bifold doors further broadened his knowledge and developed the specialist skills he brings to the business today.
Carl founded Carl Hancock Installations to put quality firmly within his own control. Carl and Andrew take genuine pride in every installation, combining careful workmanship and meticulous finishing with only tried-and-tested, industry-leading products.

Carl surveys the job personally — every opening measured, lintels, sills and ventilation checked — then you get a written price. Free, and with nobody ringing you afterwards to chase it.

Made & fitted
Frames are made to your sizes, then fitted on an agreed date. Dust sheets down, one opening at a time, and the house watertight and secure before we leave each evening.

Walk round & guarantee
Every opening tried, every lock keyed, every bead checked with you there. Then the paperwork, the guarantee and the number to ring if anything ever moves.
