Swap a roof that is too hot in summer and too cold in winter for an insulated, tiled WarmerRoof — and use the conservatory all year round.
Roofs, roofline & repairs
Most conservatories built in the nineties and 2000s have polycarbonate or glass roofs. They lose heat fast in winter, overheat in summer, and polycarbonate gets noisy in the rain and discoloured with age. Plenty of conservatories end up as storage for exactly those reasons.
A warm roof replaces the old roof with an insulated, lightweight tiled structure built onto the existing frames. Inside, you get a plastered ceiling that can take downlights; outside, it looks like a proper roof rather than a conservatory.
We install WarmerRoof, a tiled roof system designed for replacing existing conservatory roofs. Before we quote, we check that the frames, base and walls underneath can carry it.
Options

The glass or polycarbonate roof is taken off and cleared from site.
An insulated structure, breathable membranes and lightweight tiles, fixed to the existing frames with any reinforcement needed.
A plastered ceiling ready to decorate, with downlights as an option.
New fascias, soffits and guttering to finish the edge of the roof properly.
Replacing a glazed roof with a solid one usually brings a conservatory under Building Regulations. We explain what applies at survey and include it in the quote.
Products & systems
We are the installer. On warm roofs & tiled conservatory roofs we survey for, supply and fit systems from WarmerRoof — the right one is confirmed for your opening at survey.
